DAY 29: Folashade

2014 In A Bit!!!!!! 😀 😀 😀

Princess Folashade…. Enjoy! 🙂
***************

What I’m thankful for, that would be a long loongggg list if I wrote everything, but I won’t. I’ll just name one thing or rather one person….my coming baby. I’m thankful for my pregnancy as I view it as a privilege and a honour to be the vessel for a little person. I’m sooooo thankful for that! Lemme confess, a part of me always wondered if I was fertile at all sef, so I’m really glad of the proof.

Next come the good times I remember this year. Wow. It’s been a great year for me. I passed 300 level Professional Examination! Yay! I had resit examinations and I was very scared ‘cos I knew I wasn’t the most serious of the bunch. I was out doing things *wink* that could get me pregnant (kids, don’t copy me!). But somehow, God had mercy on me and helped me and I’m so thankful for that. I’m also happy I made wonderful new friends Kanyinsola and Ngozi are great examples. I’ve come to love those geeky babes ehn! Another great moment was when my fiance finally got the courage to go to my people and officially ask for my hand in marriage. I felt like such a grown lady!

The not so good moments were sad too. I lost an uncle, fought with my in-laws, and had to tell my mum I was preggy before the wedding plans began. O boy, she did blow! That was so sad cos I felt I disappointed her and I’m not that sorta kid.

I have loads of things I hope for in 2014, but the major one is to have a baby with ten fingers ,ten toes, two eyes, one nose…….you know, a perfectly healthy baby. The time I spent in paediatrics put the fear of God in me, when all I saw were sick kids, so weak they couldn’t even cry! That’s my worst fear now. So I really hope and pray I get a perfectly healthy baby. I’m also looking forward to getting married to my boo and baby daddy(I can then officially have fun. *wink wink*). Also, every year brings me closer to the end of medical school and I’m so tired of being a student, I want to be a DOCTOR!.

Finally, I pray we all make it to the new year peacefully, with all our loved ones hale and hearty in Jesus name!for a better Nigeria too. I hope that last one isn’t too much to ask. 🙂

Compliments of the Season from Perry’s tots! 😀
