As I woke at the pitter patter sound of rain on my roof and the greeting of happy new month, I rolled on my side. Its a new month. I whispered, thank you Lord. We have come this far in 2014 and like in school where midterm test is conducted, it’s that time we evaluate or analyze our progress or shortcomings so far.

How well have we run, how has our church’s theme been actualized in our lives, how has our decisions moved us towards that goal, how we have influenced our immediate environment, are we where God intend for us to be at this stage of our lives. Do we still have that supernatural drive we had at the beginning of the year, most importantly, are we fulfilling the purpose for which God’s breath is still in us?

For those who are making progress; that have compared notes they wrote in the beginning of the year and now and are happy with how far God has brought them, all glory and honour to God.

For those who things are not particularly going the way they thought; brothers and sisters, I have just one question for you, is anything too hard for the Lord? So let us not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time, we will reap a harvest of blessings if we do not give up. It is impossible for God to lie instead, your situation will align with his word, and He is more than able. Let our past testimonies of God be the anchor of our present situation. God says it that settles it!

If you feel tired or overwhelmed, God’s strength is available to you because you can do ALL things through Christ that strengthens you. His amazing grace is available to you now and always. Speak God’s word concerning that situation; frame your world by God’s word not what that situation is dictating. Don’t stop believing!

For those who have gone out of line; the first step is to realise and come to Him. He is always available, always ready to accept you, don’t even hesitate. Redirect your steps and remember. God will not do for you what you can do for yourself. There is no need for the excuses. Get back in line!

You that has been planning and yet to implement, one excuse today, another tomorrow. Thinking and planning without action produces no result. Be accurately positioned so your preparation can meet opportunity. Launch your net!

Altogether, let us remain thankful. May the grace of the Lord Jesus be with us all until the very end. Amen.
Shalom!
