Part 2 here.
As I returned from the bathroom, my phone vibrated on my bed, I just received a ping. I cleaned my wet body with my brown towel and reached for my phone. It was Akin, we’ve not chatted via BBM since I made the suggestion.
“Hi Bola, hope you’re fine. Thought to say hello been a while.”
I smiled because I had also missed his company and thoughts of him kept trickling into me which I couldn’t waiver. From causal checking up on eachother, I was glued to my S5 for the next two hours chatting with Akin.
The major discussion was on the fact that the distance made him like and long for me the more, at this stage, I couldn’t deny I felt something for Akin. I was only hoping he would make the right move. Just as I concluded that thought, Akin asked me to be his. No man had made me happier than I felt at that point. Opening up to Akin is a decision I have never regretted for a second.
I told him we will talk about it later and I’ll let him know my decision.
We kept chatting and he shared that during the separation period, he had a sickle cell crises.
No! Akin can’t be sickle celled. Why Lord?
Although Akin and I talked about everything, I just realized that I had never mentioned to him I was also sickle celled.
The End.
