I cannot remember the first time I saw her but the countless times I’ve seen this about 5’7 tall, slim dark woman is invaluable. The fluency with which she speaks is admirable. Whenever I hear the word ‘whilst’ she is the one speaking, she isn’t just beauty with brain, she also dresses stylishly.
Although I had always admired her for about ten years and wrote a post to her about two years ago, I finally met the woman whose words God had used to mold and encourage me when I needed it the most.
The day before I met her, I had set out my program of event then I went to twitter, I saw an invite to the mentorship program she planned. I was so excited I kept talking about her and how I was going to attend the program to my roommate and guest, although my body was aching and needed rest. I then tweeted the link of the gratitude post to her.
After the meeting, she introduced herself and I did too, a brother then said “This is the person that wrote about you on her blog.” She was so happy and I smiled shyly eventhough I felt like giving her a very big hug, I gave a side hug and that made my month! I finally met Pastor Biola Adeyoola.
During the mentorship program, she said she started the initiative because she felt if she knew certain things when she was younger she would have been a better person.
I love when everyone else think someone is perfect but they keep striving for better or more. I love this woman so much I wrote her name on the acknowledgement page of my dissertation.
Some people add color to your life without knowing. 😀
