Hello everyone,it’s my birthday! Happy birthday to me and the other wonderful people born today! May God continuously bless us and enlarge our territories. Amen.

This year for me has been in one word; Educative!

I’m happy to have gone through the year and learnt so many things. It started  with me just moving with the flow and trying to complete my NYSC and along the path I stumbled upon ACCA(Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) workshop that taught about leaving a purposeful life and the importance of having a planner and gaining financial knowledge. From that seminar/ workshop, I embarked on a self discovery task and the journey has been awesome so far.
A lot of people just go through life without essence, they just try to fit in instead of standing out.

In my quest for self discovery, I met a lot of talented people and  learnt a thing or two from them. I attended various self development and professional seminars and conferences and read a lot.

I worked with various organization ranging from radiography related, to financial institutions, to nature preserving groups….
I learnt to take better care of my health,to go for regular check ups and  eat right and exercise.  Yes, I added a bit of useful weight prior to me being underweight last year.
‘It is health that is real wealth and not pieces of gold and silver’…Gandhi..

God has been the center of my world and has helped me in my attempts at being an Essentialist. I’ve learnt gratitude and the importance of true friendship and love.

There were a couple of downsides this year, from illnesses, disappointment, loosing of supposed ‘friends’, anxiety issues …the whole process taught me to patiently rely on God.

The upside this year was a lot, I learnt so many important things, I took a break from the chaotic world and had enough me-time. Time I used to reflect, relax, heal, love and strategize.

For the next year, I plan on participating more in my profession; getting a steady job, being as healthy and happy as I can be, being totally dependant on God and loving my small circle of true friends and family. I equally intend working more on art, with art and through art… Don’t worry you won’t understand yet …lol.

Thanks for your time and a special thanks to a true friend  Dr Adepero Ajayi…My multitalented blogger..

Time to share the cake!  Have some! 😀
