Day 11: Ope

Thank you Adepero for the opportunity to be a part of this.

2018 has been a year that got me thinking a lot. It had me questioning a lot of my motives and decisions. In the end, I was happy with most of my answers and this was a huge relief. In the areas I fell short, I tried to fix up.

A major highlight was living amongst the wonderful people of Ika land. I could not get to learn the language well but I tried a bit. Delta state was a whole new experience. I went to Sapeleand Asaba and Warri stopped being a place I only heard of in jokes. I also went to Benin. NYSC wasn’t particularly spectacular but I met a couple of people that I think we would be friends for a long while. Practicing in a rural community alsoopened my eyes to the importance of public health and health insurance. There were quite a couple of lows but they are behind me now.

I embarked on a number of personal development projects this year and it has been so far so good. However, there is always room for improvement. 2019 is going to be a great year and I can feel it in my veins.
