2013 has been a good one, like most of my classmates, the year didn’t really begin until I finished writing my 2nd Professional Examination in March. I spent most time on my bed reading and listening to music. With the examination came much love too as everyone wanted to help in their own little way, thanks to everyone who contributed to the success of my examination, especially Cousin Tosin, Ibukun, Gbengba, Adeoye etc, God bless you.

Junior posting started with Basic Therapeutic Skill classes, largely uneventful, but I moved to a new room that is very unlike my last room; everyone is very quiet.(You could hear a pin drop!)

Back to school, I seriously hated Obsterics & Gynaecology posting( I don’t particularly like the idea of looking at another woman’s privates). Medicine posting was so cool and Surgery posting was even better, except for the on and off Doctor’s strike that made the posting seem like forever.

I read more books this year and I can now agree with my good friend, Romola, who always say “You can never be greater than what you read” 🙂

I met some amazing people this year and had to let go of some others. Going out has never been my thing but I went out this year, a lot of times and I hope to continue.

The major ‘New year resolution’ I made this year, I broke in November, then I realised I could not do(or keep myself from doing) without God’s grace. So most importantly in 2014, I hope to continue to walk in God’s strength that never fails.

2014, The future is bright- School, project, electives, no more strikes(Amen), a better country, closer friendships, more family moments, learn to play the piano(I may be too old for that, lol) and so much more by God’s grace.
